PROCEDURES
- Talk to students about their expectations concerning the continuation of Inside Out Program – Advanced 2; also, have them say their experience in the first book, their difficulties, what they still remember, their opinion concerning the Unit tests and so on.
- Teacher may start by asking: “Can we have expectations about anything in life? Like clothes, a car, new house…?” And “What about services?” / And what are we offering you: a service or a product?
- Taking the chart listing each Unit topic, ask students to express their previous knowledge and what they expect form to learn and discuss, making inferences about each one of them.
- Finally, ask students to write down their priorities for this term concerning their learning the language and what support they do need form us teachers. We are supposed to keep and read all of them in order to help them throughout the semester.
